On 26 Dec 2021, we gave God thanks for Associate Pastor Raymond Yong who has faithfully served for 40 years in various responsibilities on staff and Eleazar Tan who has served 15 very faithful years as administrative staff.

A Note of Appreciation
|
“If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones…" (Luke 16:10a) All praise and glory to God for His sustaining grace that enabled me to serve faithfully in Calvary Church for 40 years. I experienced so much growth and development in my life under the excellent leadership and guidance of our Senior Pastor Prince Guneratnam and Senior Associate Pastor Petrina Guneratnam. I am very grateful and thankful to my supportive family who have been a great encouragement, inspiration and motivation to me in serving the Lord Jesus Christ. I appreciate the opportunity to work together with all the Pastors and church staff and the privilege to lead and serve in the different ministries over the four decades. May Deuteronomy 10:12, “And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you? He requires only that you fear the Lord your God, and live in a way that pleases him, and love him and serve him with all your heart and soul,” be our commitment to live, love and serve the almighty God with the Holy Spirit’s anointing and enablement. We also thank God for our lay leaders who have faithfully served the church.
Krystle Lim was recognized for 10 years of service in the Children’s Ministry, while Yong Chai Ming has served 25 faithful years in Life Group Ministry, and Christina Kok was recognized for serving faithfully for 25 years in the Missionettes.
While Francisca Tan was unable to be present physically, she was recognized for 10 faithful years of service in the School of Christian Growth.

Praise God for the committed and obedient individuals who have allowed God to use them for the furtherance of His kingdom and for them being a blessing to the body of Christ. “For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others” (Romans 12:4-5).
