Asian Institute of Ministries

Who we are

The Asian Institute of Ministries (AIM) is the Ministry Training arm of AIM Christian College. It is a trans-denominational Pentecostal short-term Bible School. It is set up to provide training for any believer desiring to be equipped to serve God more effectively (Ephesians 4:11-12).

AIM provides

  • A curriculum which introduces students to various disciplines in the field of Biblical Studies, Missions, Evangelism and Counselling.
  • An environment which enhances the learning experience and promotes wholesome social, intellectual and spiritual attitudes in the lives of the students
  • Opportunities for students to observe the practical out workings of theoretical principles through involvement in various ministries

Course Introduction

AIM offers three Leadership Modules (Biblical Studies, Mission and Evangelism) which can be taken as stand-alone Leadership Courses, or when accumulated, leads to a Certificate of Ministry. These modules may be taken consecutively or over a three year period.

The AIM Adult Counselling programme is conducted over a 4 months period. It is designed to provide students with a framework, which integrates biblical and humanistic perspectives, to understand people and their problems. It also aims to impart basic interpersonal and counselling skills to students to foster personal growth and development and equip them to be effective people helpers.

The unique blend of classroom and field experience is designed so the student will grow in the knowledge and understanding of God and His plans and purposes for the individual and the Church.

The AIM Leadership courses and Counselling programme enhances the effectiveness of those currently in leadership and prepares those who aspire to be involved in church ministries.

Academic credits accumulated upon successful completion of the AIM Certificate of Ministry can be considered for transfer to the Bible College of Malaysia. Terms and conditions apply.
