Joy of Togetherness
Calvary Church Family Day 2025
On Monday, 1 September 2025, 314 Calvarites—from little ones as young as 3 to our cherished seniors in their 80s— came together at Taylors International School, Puchong to celebrate Calvary Family Day!
The day began with everyone gathering on the field, lifting their voices in praise to the Lord with the song “Holy, Holy, Holy!” Pastor Richard Yun then led a lively warm-up session before the “friendly” competitions kicked off among the four teams—Blue (led by Stephen Liu), Green (led by Tam Kok Meng), Red (led by Deacon Chow Sang Hoe), and Yellow (led by Melvin Wong).

The seven creative and inclusive games – “Sting in the Tail”, “Crown Him with Many Crowns”, “Gorilla Walk Relay”, “Head, Shoulders, Knees, Toes and Cup”, “Paper Plane Catch”, and “New Hopescotch” – sparked much laughter, energy, and teamwork. The thrill of competition and the joy of cheering on one another fostered a wonderful sense among all.

After a series of exciting challenges, the Yellow Team emerged as the overall champion, cheered on enthusiastically by all. Yet in true Calvary spirit, every participant went home a winner—each receiving a goodie bag packed with delightful treats as a token of appreciation and joy.
Calvary Family Day truly lived up to its theme, “Joy of Togetherness”—a beautiful reminder that God’s family is made stronger when we come together in love, laughter, and unity. As Psalm 133:1 declares, “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!”
