Love God, Love People Conference 2025
A Call to Authentic Discipleship
The Love God, Love People Conference 2025 was held on Sunday and Monday, 15 and 16 September 2025, at Calvary Convention Centre (CCC), featuring Pastor Benny Ho from Faith Community Church, Perth, Australia. Over 280 participants gathered on the first day, and 240 returned on the second — eager, expectant, and hungry for God’s Word.

From the very first session, Pastor Benny spoke with remarkable clarity and simplicity, unpacking profound biblical truths that stirred hearts and renewed minds. The atmosphere was one of deep hunger for God, as men and women leaned in to hear what it truly means to love God and love people through the journey of discipleship.
The plenary sessions were rich with insights and challenges:
- The Heart of Discipleship called believers to embrace the lifelong journey of following Jesus wholeheartedly.
- The 5 Distinctives of a Disciple-Making Church outlined the marks of a church that is both intentional and authentic in making disciples — helping participants understand the why, what, and how of true disciple-making.
- Are You a Clear Signpost? inspired participants to live their mission — to be God’s light and signpost wherever He has placed them.
- Keeping the Fire Burning was a heartfelt reminder to keep the altar of our hearts aflame with the Holy Spirit long after the conference ended — living out our mandate of discipleship with renewed passion and purpose.

Three powerful workshops further enriched the experience:
“Mentoring Across Generations” workshop
In Mentoring Across Generations, panellists Stephen Liu, Peggy Low, and Tabitha Ong shared personal perspectives on building intergenerational bridges through mentoring. They highlighted the importance of understanding, mutual respect, and learning across different age groups. The session, moderated by Ezra Ponnudurai, was lively, practical, and deeply encouraging.
“Building Resilient Marriage and Families” workshop
Building Resilient Marriages and Families was a timely reminder of the sacred union of marriage and the strength found in matrimony and faith. Pastor Chris Lee, Pam Guneratnam, Lee Kam Khuan, and Chua Bee Chin shared wisdom on navigating challenges with love and faithfulness, anchored in the powerful truth of “Do everything in love” (1 Corinthians 16:14). As the moderator, Melvin Wong’s warmth and clarity brought the session to life.
“Navigating Technology for a Kingdom Impact” workshop
In Navigating Technology for a Kingdom Impact, Carmen Chong, Roshan Nigel Miranda, and Gan Chew explored how believers can be digital witnesses for Christ — using technology wisely, ethically, and missionally. Emmanuel Wong and Azriela Abraham moderated with excellence and insight.
A special new feature this year was the Tune-In Talks, where powerful testimonies of God’s goodness inspired everyone present. Alan Chang shared how obedience led to unexpected financial blessings and the salvation of many through Easter invitations. Cherilyn Thong and Tan Hsu Mei testified of God’s healing and deliverance in ministry. K. Anbalangan shared a moving testimony on God’s strength through his wife’s illness and passing, and how His faithfulness continues to sustain and bless his family.
