FAITH POSSESSES GOD’S PROMISES
By Senior Pastor Prince Guneratnam
Everything we receive from God is by promises, and for the promises to come to pass, we must have faith. Thus, having faith is important. God’s Word plus faith brings us into the provision of the promise. The Bible says God “has given to us exceedingly great and precious promises that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature” (2 Peter 1:4). We must have faith in the promises of God. We can receive all that He has promised. [Read more]

Testimonies of the four individuals from the Gospel accounts
On Good Friday, the audience was moved by the testimonies and videos, depicting the Gospel accounts of four individuals - The Paralytic, The Adulteress, Martha, and The Rich Young Ruler, who were impacted in their encounter with Jesus.
The prowess presentation by the Music and Creative Arts team and the delicately woven sermon preached by Associate Pastor David Seah, made the accounts come alive and relatable. What Jesus did then for these individuals, He can still do today, in healing, forgiving, and giving the gift of eternal life, to those who believe.
Musical performance and Senior Pastor’s preaching during the Easter service
Senior Pastor Prince Guneratnam exhorted the congregation on Easter Sunday that the reason why Jesus is our Living Hope is because God has accepted Christ’s sacrifice on the cross and raised Jesus from the dead.
Jesus Christ our Living Hope, is still impacting many lives today. Would you like to receive the gift of eternal life, healing and forgiveness? Connect with us here.

LEADERS’ INSTALLATION & LONG SERVICE AWARDS 2021
By Carmen Chong
Calvary Church has appointed 223 leaders for 2021 and awarded seven leaders and two church staff with the Long Service Awards at the Calvary Convention Centre on Sunday, 28 March 2021, and 8 April 2021 via Zoom.
Virtual meeting of Leaders' Installation 2021
The annual Leaders’ Installation seeks to affirm God’s call upon their lives, commitment to the Lord, and service for Him in roles of leadership. Associate Pastor David Seah addressed the leaders, exhorting them with 1 Peter 5:2-4 (NLT):
“Care for the flock that God has entrusted to you. Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly – not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to serve God. Don’t lord it over the people assigned to your care, but lead them by your own good example. And when the Great Shepherd appears, you will receive a crown of never-ending glory and honour.”
Senior Pastor Prince Guneratnam prayed for Leaders
All leaders expressed their personal dedication to the Lord together, and Senior Pastor Prince Guneratnam prayed for God’s exhortation and anointing to be upon them.
The Long Service Awards were presented after the Leaders’ Installation. During the physical meeting, Executive Pastor Jim Guneratnam commended the dedication, commitment, and exemplary leadership of lay leaders and church staff in their role as they received their Long Service Awards from Senior Pastor. The same was done through the virtual meeting by Associate Pastor David Seah to those who were unable to attend the physical meeting.
The recipients of Leaders’ Long Service Awards are:
