Welcoming Twelve into the Family

We praise and thank God for the 12 who obeyed Jesus by being baptised in water on Saturday, 23 April 2022 at Calvary Church Damansara Heights.

All of them shared wonderful testimonies on how they came to know Christ and here are some of them:

I was a very negative person, felt I’m not loved, and that I did not deserve anything good. After being introduced to Calvary Church, I learned a lot about Jesus our God and experienced His guidance through hardships. So, I accepted His saving grace, and He's been an inspiration and constant motivation to me ever since. When in doubt, His Word always cheers me up. I view life differently now and have been a more positive person. - Lynn

I was an idol worshipper. Shocked by the sudden death of my husband back in 2000 and seeing the many religious ceremonies that were conducted to try and rescue him come to no avail, I embarked on a journey to search for the real God. When my friend Ivy suffered depression after her husband’s death, I brought her to a church and she was healed! Jesus began moving my heart whenever I attended a Sunday service I felt a sense of healing. I now know Jesus is the Son of God and the only way to eternal life. - Kim

At the age of eight after hearing a sermon about the after-life, the Spirit of God moved in my heart and I invited Jesus into my life. Jesus has given me a brand-new outlook about everything, given me confidence and grace as I go through challenges in life, and I can feel His presence everywhere I go. - Santhosh

I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour when I was seven years old at Carpenter’s Workshop. Jesus helped me in my studies, forgives me of my sins when I do wrong, and He is my teacher. I love you Jesus. - Debbiesha

Galatians 3:27 says “For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.” All glory to God for these 12 precious lives who have decided to make a public confession of their faith in God and their intention to journey with Him for the rest of their lives.
